Synopsis
A Swiss historian visits Malaysia in search of an ancient city mentioned in Sejarah Melayu manuscript written by Tun Sri lanang of 16th century. He discovered that there was an ancient city in the state of Johor called Kota Kelanggi existed at the same period of time. In the process of searching the lost city named Kota Kelanggi , he himself vanished in the jungle, which lead to various assumptions associating his disappearance.
Twenty years after the disremembered incident, a young lawyer , Vijayan attempts to treasure throve the truth behind the missing historian. During which, he meets many individuals who had crossed path with the lost historian at various time ; each recounting different perspectives and dimensions unfolding the truth, leading both Vijayan and the readers to much anticipations.
This Tamil thriller genre is published in the year 2018. The novel is stimulated by an article published in The Star back in 2008. The existences of Kota Kelanggi seem to be mentioned in many other articles and historical books citationed the first capital city of the great Sri Vijaya Empire. True events and incidents which have taken place make the novel thriving alive to the readers.
